Last month I've done this infographic for the israelian website
aish.com
I really enjoyed it because I'm found about the hebrew history and one of his main character, Juda The Maccabeus, an army general who fougth against the Greek invaders in the 2nd century before Christ.
Searching some references to depict him, I've find one illustration by the famous french painter Gustave Dorè (above on the left). Soon I realized there was another one just in one window of the Cathedral of my town (above center) But the Dorè picture was too dynamic and the one in the window too static, the I've to redraw it completely.
This pictures was about the way to lighting the hanukkah according to the different jewish traditions. But the editor preferred to dropped it and use only text in the infographic.
